Cleaning, sheep and cutlery

"It's just another manic Monday"
Well, not really, but I like that song. The week started off with the usual weekly clean of the Farm House and Driftwood. This also included the weekly checks, so we were busy till lunch.
It's only been a week since the sheep were moved to a new area of grass, but they've already munched their way through it! We had to move them again today. This meant taking the whole of the fence down and then putting it back up again. It wasn't too bad as it's much quicker now we know what were doing. Of course that's not to say we didn't before! We are just more practiced at it. Unfortunately though, five sheep managed to escape!
After all the fun of the farm, it was back to more serious things. There were a number of jobs needing to be done, so we were all given a task to complete. I was to clean all the shower heads in both the Farm House and Driftwood. This was a pleasant job as there were only four to do. However, I did manage to get bleach on my new trousers! Oh well! Silly me. While I was scrubbing showers, Iain and Simon were mowing and strimming and Erin, Jo and Mat had the stressful task of cleaning the filter tubes. The last time this was done, the tube broke and we couldn't pump water! But it all went smoothly today. No breakages! Phew.
When the tube cleaning was complete, Erin and Jo finished off raking some cuttings from a previous strimming session and I started on the kitchen inventory. Hopefully finding out what items we have and what condition they're in, with the idea of getting new things if the old ones are becoming unsafe. Got quite a long way to go with that, only managed to count the cutlery and tidy the knife drawer before the end of the day! D'oh. Oh well, I like counting things I guess...Standing by.
