3Hr prep, money and computers

Evening all
A less hectic day than yesterday and the weather was good enough for the three-hour visit to come over! Matt and Alex came back onto the island, so there are six staff on the island now. Gosia is on duties today, so she'll need to cook for two extra mouths tonight!
The day started with preparing the Barracks for the arrival of the three-hour visit at 09:45. There were 25 people today, consisting of a secondary school group on a day out for their 'activities week' and a smaller family group coming over to explore the island. Alex took care of the school group, as she is the Assistant Educational warden, while I manned the Barracks. Both groups were all very nice and really enjoyed the experience, saying that they will probably come again.
After the visitors had left, it was time for lunch and afterwards I came back to the Barracks to cash up and re-stock the shop. Once this task was completed, I carried on with organising the shop.
Tomorrow's weather is looking poor, so the three-hour visit has been canceled. Again this is a real shame for the project as we are not making any money. But, at least the conservation work can continue. The weather doesn't stop that activity! Till tomorrow ... Standing By.
