Hello there,The weather was still really windy today, but it seems to have reduced a little, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The reason for this activity is due to the weather. The forecast is predicting poor situations for the next couple of days. Therefore, Sam, Nathan and I have been booked to come off the island tomorrow instead of Sunday and Tuesday. Hence the crossing of fingers!
As the trip had been cancelled yesterday, today was spent finishing some more computer work on the shop and helping Gosia with more raking up at the Barracks.
The picnic area up at the Barracks is looking much tidier now and a lot bigger too. Luckily it is coming to the end of the gull breeding season, otherwise they would find this area very suitable for making their nests. A nice spot in the sun maybe.
Well, it's a quiet evening involving some packing in preparation for the boat tomorrow. Let's hope the wind becomes a little calmer. The forecast is OK for tomorrow morning, but then the wind is forecast to get stronger later in the day! Crossing toes too ... Standing By
